This Winter appears to be exceptionally warm in Czechia. One would think that Spring has already come. Prague was covered with frozen snow two years ago while today flowers are popping up. It also means that tourist season has started way earlier than it did previous years. The city becomes full of people who enjoy the soft sun and mild temperatures which allow to put away winter coats and walk just in sweaters or Prague sweatshirts
. Open air cafes and riverside restaurants are considering to bring summer furniture out of their cellars.
Yet the Winter has not ended yet as nights are still cold. So be aware of late night frost and do not go out for dinner without warm clothing.
The City has saved a fortune on snow cleaning labours so we hope to see some significant improvement in municipal services during this Summer :-)
