If you say chocolate, the countries of origin which come into your mind first are typically Switzerland and Germany. Yes, the Germans produce excellent chocolates - I like Hachez the most. But there are several local producers in Prague whose products are really great and I enjoy them each time I walk by.
The largest one is Choco-Story, museum of chocolate in Celetna Street. They not only run large shop with endless varieties of coca products, but they also explain from where chocolate originated and where the cocoa beans are being grown. I found it very interesting.
Another one is a small shop at the corner of Nerudova Street, just below the Prague Castle. They sell hot liquid chocolate which is simply gorgeous.
